Using 2003-01-15 commercial trunk

Clearing Quicksearch via backspace when in a mailview doesn't clear properly (at
least not consistently).   Can wind up where Clear button is disabled (similar
bug 148001) and it is confusing to reset the view.

Am logging this bug starting with a particular scenario, but more problem cases
are anticipated (not sure if we'll want to clump them here) as not all testing
has been done surrounding the play between quicksearch and views.

Steps - scenario #1:
1.  Open mail folder or newsgroup, set view dropdown to a view (populated) other
than All.
2.  Type a string in the quicksearch bar, wait for the results to display.
3.  Backspace fully through the quicksearch text field to clear it.

Result:  quicksearch doesn't reset to folder view. Now clear button is disabled,
must type in another quicksearch string and use Clear to reset.  May not reset
properly.
