Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:125.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/125.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://connect.mozilla.org/
  2. Click Sign in
  3. Get offered a chance to log in by receiving a login link
  4. Enter my email
  5. Switch to Thunderbird
  6. Open the login email

I'm not 100% certain about steps 3 & 4 as I can't seem to log out sufficiently to be able to request a login email. Clicking Sign in immediately logs me in.

Actual results:

The login email has a button Sign in to Mozilla Conn... which has the following relevant styles:

color: #ffffff; background: #eb5424; font-size: 14px; font-weight: 400;

WebAIM reports this is a contrast of 3.6:1.

Following Or sign in using this link is text with the following styling:

color: #A9B3BC;

which appears on a white background.

WebAIM reports this as 2.12:1 contrast, a complete WCAG 2.0 failure.

"This email has been sent by the Mozilla SSO system." similarly fails for contrast.

Expected results:

Both the button and the link, as well as "This email has been sent by the Mozilla SSO system." pass WCAG 2.0 AA for contrast.
