Steps to reproduce:
Install Thunderbird and set it up with a google calendar, e.g., firstperson@gmail.com
Go to google calendar on the web and, using a different google account, e.g., secondperson@gmail.com, set up a recurring event and invite person one to that event.
In Thunderbird, as person one, when you receive the email notifiying you of the recurring event, accept the event.
Now go to the calendar view in Thunderbird and ...
Double click on the recurring event
Thunderbird will ask you if you want to edit just one instance or all instances of the event
Click either option (it doesn't matter for the purposes of experiencing this issue)
r/Thunderbird - Calendar - Tiny Window Popup - Recurring events from another calendar
Notice that the popup is very small and positioned int he top left of the screen, and doesn't include all the information in the meeting (see image) unless you manually expand the window or scroll down
Next, try the following steps to fix it:
Try resizing the popup and then closing it.
Try resizing the popup and clicking Save And Close.
Notice that whatever you do to this popup, any changes you make to the location or size of the popup are not persistent!
I am having trouble resizing the popup window when looking at a meeting that I am invited to from someone else's calendar.
When I follow the repro steps above, the window opens in the top left of the screen, too small to show the content of the event and when I resize the window, it fails to keep the dimensions and location for the next time I open this pop up.
I would expect that regardless of whether the calendar event was created within Thunderbird manually by the user or was created automatically by the IMAP server without user interaction, that when the user opens the event to edit it, the same behaviour would be demonstrated for any event. Specifically, the popup should appear with the same size and location as the last time it was triggered and that this size and location would be persistent across sessions.

This bug might not be restricted to only calendar-popups, but it might affect all popups. There is another bug which is probably related here: https://gitlab.com/CardBook/CardBook/-/issues/1646

This is happening in Thunderbird 128.0.1 as well.
