RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1896513

People

(Reporter: will.r.s.hansen, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 10; Mobile; rv:126.0) Gecko/126.0 Firefox/126.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open a pdf in-browser, and scroll down 5-10 pages. (Cheap phone, and 30 other tabs open).

Actual results:

After a few pages (5-10), lag sharply increases, and the browser freezes. Force closing the app and re-opening salvages other tabs.

This occurs with every pdf I have tried (about 3)

Opening the pdf in browser, downloading the pdf, then closing the pdf tab encounters no issue.

Expected results:

A freeze-free pdf reading experience

Are you able to reproduce your issue with nightly ?

With fresh install of nightly: Can't reproduce. Works fine.

Tried same pdf with non-nightly, and it froze.
(I suppose to really be sure, I'd have to test on non-nightly without other tabs or addons)
