This had been observed during testing with the assumption the delayed publishing of status changes made in the UI by the API is explained by the less-resourced development instance. At least two code sheriffs have reported delays in the action of clients to a tree getting closed: patches still landing with Lando, and Treeherder showing the tree as still open.

e.g. autoland closed at 2024-05-15 04:04:28 UTC, two changes landed afterwards, the latter one at 2024-05-15 04:06:08 UTC - the code sheriff in this case opened and closed the tree afterwards, it’s unknown how much delayed the closing operation has been.
