This work is the first of several improvements to the bookmarking experience. This first release in FX 127 is on Android only. The same changes will release on iOS in FX 128. I'll save a copy of this request and submit it then.

In FX 127 on Android the homepage section currently labeled Recently Saved will be replaced with a section named Bookmarks.
P1 Display in that new section the 8 (max) most recently saved bookmarks, most recent at left (previously the max was 5)
P1 The new section labeled “Bookmarks” never disappears unless the user has no bookmarks (previously it disappear when there were no bookmarks in it)
P1 The bookmarks within the section never disappear (previously they would disappear after some length of time)
P1 In the Bookmarks section, the existing “Show all” link will open the existing Bookmarks Panel, with all bookmarks displayed, sort order remains business as usual
P1 Update Settings for Homepage to reflect new “Bookmarks” section name

Thanks for sending this over, Stefan! I'll get started on it next week, and we aim to have a draft ready for review the week before the release. Just give me a shout if there are any changes.

Excellent. There should be no changes. No bugs we are aware of, either. Thank you. To verify: a screenshot will be good enough.

Hello, This MVP+1 Release (Android) is currently undergoing a holdback experiment, and we expect it will be going to 100% of users in January.

Jeff Boek and I will review the results from the experiment, and will then decide when/whether to move to 100%. We expect to move to 100% unless there is something surprising in the results.

I'll comment here when we have the exact date, but it'll be no earlier than the 6th of Jan, when people are back after holidays.
