The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Performance' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello, thanks for the report. The symptoms looks similar to bug 1897006 which will likely be fixed in the next release of Firefox (126.0.1, which will release on May 28 at latest).
Can you confirm the following:
- Does setting
media.hardware-video-decoding.enabled
tofalse
inabout:config
and restarting fix the issue? (remember to set it back totrue
later) - Does the issue happen in Firefox Beta 127.0b5? (the latest beta build, where bug 1897006 has already been fixed)
Thank you.
This problem does exist in 127.0b5. mail.google.com is also particularly sensitive.

Hello, if you are experiencing a problem with similar symptoms, could you please file a different bug with more details? Your problem could have a different root cause than the issue experimented by the person who filed the current bug. Thanks.

Apparently this was fixed in 126.0.1. I've tested and confirmed no memory leak issues, especially in Youtube
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1897006
It was a recent bug, but you guys fixed it, Thanks!
