This bug is for adding tests for video, and browsing that measure battery usage for both Firefox, and Chrome. For these tests, charging will need to be "fake" disabled.

:sparky, I have the one here on github but I was under the impression that we were blocked by CI. Should we hold off on trying to add it? I guess an alternative for now is maybe we try to track the usage throughout all of our tests to "try it out" (i.e: test the discharge rate we get when running sp3 -- this is just for an example though I don't know if it would work).

That needinfo was from before we discussed that issue, we should still hold off. Have you tested to see if we could use the cpuTime metric from glean as a proxy for this? See here: https://github.com/sitespeedio/browsertime/blob/694213b24a84db0f715f3ebcfbefd327c0ce1126/lib/firefox/webdriver/firefox.js#L249
