The bug that is causing me problems in Firefox and now Nightly is not being able to copy and paste useing the mouse

Steps to reproduce:

I try to copy and paste between new browser pages

Actual results:

when I have highlited the text to copy the copy button stays dim.

Expected results:

when the relevant text is highlited the copy button should illuminate.

I am now using Nightly, when first used this problem did not exhist.
