User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:126.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/126.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable or Disable Appenglow theme

Actual results:

The taskbar flashes white when the Appenglow Theme is enabled or disabled.

Expected results:

This behaviour is strange because Appenglow appears to be a dark theme, so I would expect the taskbar to have a black loading screen. I assume this is what it does with most themes because other themes do not appear to have this problem

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Theme' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

The taskbar flashes white when the Appenglow Theme is enabled or disabled.

What do you mean by taskbar? The Windows taskbar or some part of the Firefox UI?

A screencast might be helpful here, as well as a regression window if applicable.

Alpenglow includes a dark variant and a white one, and it's your OS settings that tells Firefox which one to use. Can you confirm your OS is set to dark mode?

I mean the tab bar at the top of Firefox. I can confirm this happens when system is in dark mode

This only happens very rarely but the entire tab bar will turn white sometimes

Actually I can't really seem to get this to happen anymore, sometimes the tab bar will appear a shade whiter but I don't really think its acting buggy in it's current state. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused
