• macOS 14.1.1
• Ubuntu 22.04

[Prerequisites]:

• Have the following prefs in the "about:config" page:
  • browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newtabWallpapers.enabled set to true
  • browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newtabWallpapers.highlightEnabled set to true
• Have no wallpaper set.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser using the profile from the prerequisites.
2. Open a New Tab and wait for ~3 seconds.
3. Repeat step 2 for two more times.
4. Open a New Tab and observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

• The wallpaper feature highlight is NOT displayed.

[Actual result]:

• The wallpaper feature highlight is displayed.

[Additional Notes]:

• The wallpaper feature highlight is no longer displayed after is shown for the fourth time.
