The recomp team is working on a reusable moz-checkbox component: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1894485. At the moment, it is in a WIP state. Once it is ready for broader use, we can use it to replace our custom checkboxes (ex. in backup-settings, dialogs, etc.).
