Steps to reproduce:
I'm using HLS.js to play HLS streams, but when I change the audio source from a Stereo Channel layout to a Multi-Channel one, like 2.0 to 5.1, it sounds just extremely strange to me, either it sounds Slow-Motion or way too fast. Like the audio plays either at 10x or at x0.01 ... Both sounds horrible. This explicitly happens when the Audio Channel Layout changes!
Please also see: https://github.com/video-dev/hls.js/issues/6504
On Chrome, it's working absolutely fine ... No bugs at all, so this does not seems to be a hls.js issue
I also created a Test HLS setup using the Big Buck Bunny clip, it shows the issue immediately when using HLS.js as player on FireFox ... if you switch between Stereo Track it's not a problem, when you switch between Stereo and 5.1 or vise-versa, you directly hear the issue...
The file can be obtained here (HLS structure + input mp4 file):

My User Agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:127.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/127.0
Actual results:
Audio behaves strange on when the Channel layout changes from e.g. 2.0 to 5.1
Expected results:
Sound should play normally! Just like in Chrome.

Reporter, please try on Firefox Nightly, I've fixed something recently for this, would be good to confirm.
@Paul Adenot: On the 128.0b4 version I currently get at the website -> https://www.mozilla.org/de/firefox/channel/desktop/ ???

Okay I just tried the 128.0b4 version, but when I switch now the Audio from Stereo to 5.1 or vise-verse the Audio simply drops, I dont hear anything, just the video plays.
