Just updated to 20240617214416
on macOS from 20240617085710
. For some reason, macOS sees it as a brand new app: it's not the default, it needs new permissions (e.g. location, notifications).

When I try to set the browser as default, it looks like the name changed from Nightly
for Firefox Nightly
?

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::DOM: Notifications' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

When I try to set the browser as default, it looks like the name changed from
Nightly
forFirefox Nightly
?
Nightly
is the name of local builds. Firefox Nightly
is the name of the nightlies we ship. It doesn't sound right that would have been Nightly
for you before.

:sergesanspaille, since you are the author of the regressor, bug 1900255, could you take a look? Also, could you set the severity field?

The bug is marked as blocking firefox129 (nightly). However, the bug still isn't assigned.
:jstutte, could you please find an assignee for this tracked bug? Given that it is a regression and we know the cause, we could also simply backout the regressor. If you disagree with the tracking decision, please talk with the release managers.
