User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 i have no idea what is causing mozilla to crash, but it is becoming unbearable. i started using 1.3a shortly after it was released. all was well until 1/12. i'll check my windows update history once M$ lets me (i recently installed yet another critical patch, so the "View installation history" option at windowsupdate.com is grayed out until i reboot). my guess is that this may have been around the time i updated my video driver. i'm using the WHQL-certified WU-provided "S3 Graphics Savage/IX 1014" driver dated 11/28/02 version 6.13.10.7048 under XP pro on my stinkpad T21. mozilla seems to crash randomly. i can't deduce a pattern, but it seems to happen most often when i click a link and then rapidly alt-tab my way to another window. i've submitted TB's for a bunch of these crashes: TB16093065X TB16142321Q TB16147383H TB16180211G TB16498617W i'd love to get to the bottom of this! let me know if there is anything i can do to halp. i am not a programmer :( Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. fire up Moz 1.3a on my computer 2. use it happily for a while. lots of open windows, tabbed browsing, etc. 3. watch it crash randomly, taking away possibly weeks of state :( 4. whine to the programmers in hopes that they can return your life to normalcy ;) Actual Results: your life sucks Expected Results: your life doesn't suck
