I had set up two mail accounts and set all basic preferences ie default home
page etc and have used a few times and all was fine. Opened later and all above
items are missing. Mozilla goes back to original install settings.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Can not make problem happen. Always happens but is random. It is causing loss of
emails. Is there a file or place downloaded emails can be recovered. All other
missing settings I can live with.

Do you use a virus scanner ?

PC-cillan 2000 as my virus program. Have turned off pop3 scan and have not had
yhe problem since.
