Preconditions

• Install the Firefox en-US build
• set following prefs:
  extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supported = on
  browser.search.region = CH
• Use CH VPN to test
• Have at least one CC saved in about:preferences#privacy

Steps to reproduce

1. Log into https://www.zalando.ch/, add an item to cart and navigate to checkout page
2. Use the autofill, preview and clear form within the CC form

Expected result

• Autofill, preview and clear form options in the CC form are working as expected.

Actual result

• The Cardholder Name is not captured or stored
• The Expiry Date is not stored
• The preview and "Clear autofill form" option are working individually in each field(please see attachment)

Additional notes

• The CC doorhanger is not displayed in Google Chrome, otherwise these issues can not be reproduced there.

This bug is partially fixed. The only issue remaining regarding the autofill is that if the autofill is triggered from the expiry date field, the card number field will display the wrong dropdown when it is already autofilled (the autocomplete dropdown is displayed instead of the Clear Form dropdown). All the fields are in the same frame and have the same origin.

We are unable to verify the issue regarding the cardholder name and expiry date not being captured and saved via CC capture doorhanger, as the CC doorhanger is no longer displayed in the latest Nightly 132.0a1 (2024-09-08) (but it is on Nightly 129.0a1 (2024-07-03)).

Re-tested the issue in the latest Nightly and the CC Capture Doorhanger is still not displayed.

The CC capture doorhanger is now displayed and works correctly using the latest Nightly build 2024-11-05. Using mozregression I found that bug 1921771 fixed it, so I will close this accordingly.
