When a local folder is repaired, the backend already cares about preserving settings of the folder (such as sort type/order, displayed columns, etc.) in nsMsgLocalMailFolder::GetDatabaseWithReparse, while something similar in nsImapMailFolder::UpdateImapMailboxInfo doesn't work in this case. For now, the fix in bug 550286 is kind of a workaround for this.
