With a current download highlighted in the download manager, clicking twice in
the scrollbar brings up a progress dialog for the current download, while also
scrolling up in the manager window.
Reproducible: Always
To reproduce:
1) Have enough completed downloads in the DL manager to give you a scrollbar
that can be scrolled more than twice by clicking or pressing Page Up/Down.
2) Start a new download, and keep it highlighted in the download manager.
3) double-click on an empty section of the scrollbar while highlighted download
is still in progress.
Actual Results:
Old-style progress dialog appears for the current download.
Expected Results:
DL manager window just scrolls.
I used to see this in 1.2.1, but it WFM in 1.3.
Reporter - Have you tried 1.3 yet?
This behavior still occurs in 1.3 even with a fresh profile. It also occurs
when a paused download is highlighted.
Yep, my mistake. I tried it once and it wasn't happening, but I've since seen
it again. I'm not sure, but I now have *alot* of stuff in the download manager
window and I think the window was scrolled a long way away from any actiave
downloads the time when it didn't happen.
Anyway, still happens 1.3 (and indeed 1.4 trunk, last time I built it - which
was a couple of weeks ago now).

Installed Moz 5, showing up here as well! To add a bit more detail to what's
occuring, if I double-click on either the up scroll arrow, down scroll arrow, or
even double-click on the scrollbar, the Download Manager performs the desired
scroll, in addition it performs the same action as if I had double-clicked on
the item which is currently highlighted in thd download manager list. If the
file has already been downloaded, it tries to launch it (or displays the
"Executable Warning" dialog). If the file is currently in progress of
downloading, it'll pop up a download status box. It took me a little bit of
time to figure out why these boxes kept popping up.
This patch is lifted straight from the one in bug 217252, with only the
modifications that were necessary for me to get it to work. It does seem to
work, though, and doesn't generate errors in the javascript console.

I would suggest that you ask Neil (neil.parkwaycc.co.uk@myrealbox.com) for a
review and jag for a superreview.

Sorry, but I think you'll find that bug 215928 fixes this.
