This regression is expected. remove-child-with-lengthy-text.html was originally added in bug 1901515, which improved the performance of the test from hundreds of milliseconds down to single-digit milliseconds. However, the optimization was unsound. Bug 1903652 reworks the optimization, which is expected to do more work but guarantees correctness.
