This might be a duplicate of bug 1877948, which recently had a fix landed on Nightly. Reporter, if you have the time, could you try testing with a Nightly build (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.fenix, won't affect your other install) and see if things work better with that?

In the version 130.0a1 of the Firefox Nightly, the issue is resolved. The bug ticket can be closed, assuming that change will carry over to Firefox.

Thanks for confirming! Right now, it's due to ship in the Firefox 130 release but there's a pretty good chance we'll backport the fix to something sooner than that. You can keep an eye on that bug for updates as they come.
