User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. open an image in a full-screen view, like https://cs2c9f.4pda.ws/30119458/gcam.jpg

Actual results:

  1. i have two tabs, and in one tab, only a lower half of image is visible at 100% zoom, and in titlebar it displays "scaled: 17%" when it is scaled at 100%, and doesn't display "scaled" when it scaled to fit the screen

  2. and in other tab it displays full image at 100% zoom, and doesn't display "scaled", but displays "scaled: 17%" when it scaled to fit the screen

Expected results:

it should display full image at 100% zoom

I tried to open the image (https://cs2c9f.4pda.ws/30119458/gcam.jpg) with a full-screen view on Firefox Nightly (Fx 130), on Mac and Firefox today.

When open the link with the image, it fits the screen well (i.e. I can see the whole photo). At this moment, the titlebar shows: "gcam.jpg (JPEG image, 6120 x 4590 pixels) - Scaled 21%". This makes sense to me because we scaled it to 21% to fit the screen. (Note that the browser zoom is 100%, which is the default value).

When I click the image, it makes the titlebar change to "gcam.jpg (JPEG image, 6120 x 4590 pixels)", and only part of the image is visible. This also makes sense to me. (Note that the browser zoom is still 100% as well.)

So I only can show the case in your 2nd tab. I cannot reproduce the case in your 1st tab (which seems buggy).

Hi, Serg,

Could you please also make sure your browser zoom is 100% (by clicking the hamburger on the top-right corner of the browser to check it) in the first tab?
I cannot reproduce this case as in your first tab (which seems has a bug on the titlebar), so could your please try to update your browser to Fx128 at least, instead of keeping it at Fx115? Thanks.

To reproduce:

  • Open the image, click on it to zoom in while it is not finished loading. When it is loaded, it will zoom back to fit the screen.
It is not possible to scroll the image up beyond the bottom half of the image.
The browser zoom is 100%. The other zoom values do not cause (any? except titlebar) errors.
    Tested on Firefox 128.

Hi,

I tried to reproduce this issue using Nightly 130.a01 on macOS 13.6, but I wasn't able to recreate the situation(s). I even tried zooming while the image was still loading, but it was still accessible in full and zoom in the hamburger menu is always 100%. I indeed encounter the <<"scaled: 17%" when it is scaled at 100%, and doesn't display "scaled" when it scaled to fit the screen>> situation.

Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles

ok it is caused by Zoom Page WE

Seems it's caused by https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/zoom-page-we/ and thus not something actionable on our side. If you think this is a firefox bug please reopen. Thanks!
