Make sure you have dom.text_fragments.enabled is set to true.
Steps to reproduce
- Paste and navigate to the following link into the address bar: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_power#:~:text=Most,decreases ( Regular syntax + text end)
- Observe the loaded page.
Expected behavior
The webpage is opened, the specified text fragment is highlighted and the page is scrolled to the highlighted section.
Actual behavior
The page scrolls excessively, leaving some highlighted text out of view.
Device information
- Firefox version: Nightly 130.0a1 from 17.07.2024
- Android device model: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14)

This issue was observed also on OnePlus A3000 (Android 6).
This issue was observed with the syntax: Regular syntax + text end.

Thanks for reporting!
I tried to repro on a Galaxy Tab S9FE (Android 14) with today's Nightly, and for me it worked as expected. There's differences between a phone and a tablet of course, so I don't know if I just might not encounter the issue (different aspect ratio, larger screen, ...). Could you try with today's Nightly again to confirm that some very-recent changes in that area did not fix this issue?

We can still consistently reproduce this issue on the latest build (Nightly 130.0a1 from 19.07.2024 (Build #2016033466), hg-7e7a5777dd4e+, GV: 130.0a1-20240719095541, AS: 130.20240718050240).
