Steps to reproduce:
Activer le Bouton ''Activer Les Panneaux Latéraux'' et quitter Firefox.
Actual results:
Normalement (avec les autres versions Firefox) ce Bouton restait ACTIVER. dans toute les nouvelles session Firefox.
Expected results:
Si les menus ''Latéreaux'' sont activer dans une session Firefox cette préférence devrais être sauvegarder dans les prochaines session Firefox.

Translation:
Expected results:
- Normally (with other Firefox versions) this Button would remain ENABLED. in all new Firefox sessions.
Actual results:
- If the Sidebar menus are enabled in a Firefox session, this preference should be saved in future Firefox sessions.
La fonction ''panneaux Latéraux n'est pas sauvegarder dans les sessions ''Navigation Privée''.
C'était conforme dans les autres version Firefox.

The “Side Panels” function is not saved in “Private Browsing” sessions.

I don't think the fix in that bug (which has now been morphed to be covered in the summary) would fix the situation for "permanent private browsing", would it?
I have same config on my Laptop, I copied the profile from Laptop to PC and it is showing (always) the ''Side Bar'' (menu) in the ''Private Browsing'' like it always did so far.
There is a glich somewhere...

Yeah, I misread that as private windows. I think we probably need to go with Dao's suggestion to have a backup sidebar UI state stored in a pref that would only be used if sidebar state wasn't present in windows we're restoring. I'll update the description of the other bug I duped this to.
