Steps to reproduce:

On my fedora 40 x86_64 system with nvidia driver (555.58.02, with akmods) installed, firefox binary downloaded from getfirefox.net crashes regulary.

Actual results:

Frequent crashes with crash reports:

Expected results:

I expect firefox to work, i.e. no crashes.

Work around: Use firefox flatpak package from flathub: flatpak run org.mozilla.firefox has no crashes on fedora 40.
