Proton mail has ML/AI features implemented using WebGPU, but they can't ship them to Firefox users, because of stability issues and a lack of f16 support. From Proton:

The model runs and spits out text at a reasonable rate, however we found that the stability was not there yet. The tab crashes quite often, especially after being left in the background for a few minutes

We are running mistral 7b, and this happens on my macbook M3 Pro and happened to folks internally

[O]ur feature detection fails when checking shader-f16 support

I verified that we can log into Proton.me with the provided credentials.

I think those crashes were fixed by 1902117 which is in 129. (The crashes are from 126)
