Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dCLwimACmY
  2. Enter full screen mode and press the right arrow on the keyboard as fast as possible
  3. When the video fast forwards, observe

Expected Behavior:
Videos fast forwards

Actual Behavior:
There is a buffering icon present

Notes:

  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in Firefox Nightly, and Firefox Release
  • Does not reproduce in Chrome

I tested this a bit, and the buffering seems a lot less these days. I still see it sometimes, but I also see it in Chrome sometimes. And if it buffers, it recovers fairly quickly. So ultimately, I think this is just the browser trying to load the video, and not a real interop issue.
