Treeherder login is... weird (intermittent failures, multiple tabs open, flashing, error messages)

I click on the rerun job button ("Repeat selected job") when not logged in. It starts opening tabs and flashing through stuff, briefly showing a page that just says "Forbidden", then pops up an offer to translate the page for me, then quickly closes the popup on its own. Then it gives me a clear error page: "Unable to retrieve your Taskcluster credentials." I close the 4 now-spurious tabs it opened, all showing problems, and click on the rerun button again on the original page. It now works fine, despite still displaying "Login / Register" in the upper right. If I reload, it still says that. If I then click Login, it twitches briefly and then shows me that I'm logged in.

I regularly have this problem too. Sometimes, when I eventually get back to the task I was trying to do and refresh the page, it shows as logged in, but performing an action (e.g. retriggering or cancelling a job) then reports that I'm not authenticated after all. At this point, it tries to authenticate again, but thankfully succeeds this time. It makes cancelling jobs, retriggering jobs, etc. a very tedious/laborious experience.

I see this too, sometimes. I'm going to further retitle this bug
