RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1870955

People

(Reporter: steve, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0

Steps to reproduce:

Restart computer, open firefox

Actual results:

Instead of firefox windows re-appearing on the Gnome workspaces, they all appear on a single workspace.

Expected results:

The firefox window configuration used to keep track of the workspace (and tabs) from the last time firefox was run. This essential feature is broken.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Duplicate of bug: wayland-window-position
Resolution: --- → DUPLICATE

I'm not sure that the other bug, wayland-window-position, addresses my concern of having an application with multiple windows, e.g., Firefox, restore its multiple windows to the correct workspace/desktop. If not, then this issue is not a duplicate of the wayland-window-position bug, and this issue would fall through the cracks and be ignored.
