Details
Usually, when typing a search engine shortcut (e.g., "@g" for Google) into the address bar it gets replaced with the corresponding search engine's name (e.g., "Google"). As of Nightly 131.0a1 it gets expanded twice (so "Google Google").
The effect is merely visual, the search functionality is not negatively impacted.
Steps to reproduce:
- Focus address bar
- Type a valid search engine keyword, followed by a space. For instance "@g "
Expected results: "@g" gets replaced with one "tag" UI element titled "Google"
Actual results: "@g" gets replaced with two "tag" UI elements, both titled "Google"
