Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://livelesson.class.com/class/8a731bd4-17f2-4bf6-a1b4-4f3561cab2bd
  2. Observe

Expected Behavior:
The page loads

Actual Behavior:
Blank page

Notes:

  • Reproducible on the latest Firefox Release and Nightly
  • Reproducible regardless of the ETP setting
  • Works as expected using Chrome

This seems to work if I spoof as Chrome. In Firefox with a Firefox UA, I see a ERROR: Error: [CC:206] Unsupported browser exception.

I received a response pointing me to their list of supported browsers https://support.class.com/s/article/Web-App-Supported-Browser

Unfortunately, Firefox is not on the list. I'll see if I can send a follow-up and dig a little bit deeper.

Class.com will look into the blank page and ensure that they show a "browser not supported" warning. I consider this complete in terms of outreach.

Class is using the Zoom SDK for video conferencing. As far as I know it should support Firefox.

I suspect the "needs-diagnosis" here was for the fact that the page was blank. I think that's been fixed, per comment 4 -- at least, for me loading the site today, I get a "Uh oh! This browser is not supported" page (not a blank page). Chrome Mask successfully makes it past that page and takes me to a spot where I can click to join a zoom room (which I'm not doing to avoid snooping). I think the UA override that we just landed will get the same result for users, too.

Removing needs-diagnosis, though feel free to add that back if there's anything that remains to-be-diagnosed here.
