Steps to reproduce:
I have activated both New toolbar and Felt privacy secret settings and have opened a private tab.
Actual results:
No flame 🔥 Felt Privacy icon is displayed in the toolbar
Happens also for the old toolbar.
Expected results:
As far I understand, a Felt privacy icon should appear on the toolbar in private mode tabs.

This is an expected behaviour. We're not sure where the felt privacy feature is going to ship but we've enabled the mask badge on the tabstray by default now. Until felt privacy feature is shipped, we won't ask UX to design the "flame" for toolbar redesign. Unfortunately, the new toolbar won't have the flame icon. Closing as won't fix.

Reopening this issue since I didn't notice that you mentioned the old toolbar is also not showing the erase (flame) button.
