User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:129.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/129.0

Steps to reproduce:

On MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1, with Firefox 129.0.0.1 or any other versions when I enter a random website, I should be refresh the page to get it loaded. If I don't, it's never loading fully and correctly.

Actual results:

The websites didn't loaded after a normal try, but when I refresh the page it's loading.

Expected results:

A normal loading of any pages.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Cocoa' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables add-ons, extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems.) I just tried with a new profile and troubleshooting mode. It still happens.

Does this reproduce on the latest build of Firefox (or on Nightly)? Could you attach a video and share if you are changing any preferences (even with the new profile)? Do you have any custom DNS/network settings?

Unfortunately we haven't seen this problem reported more widely and we don't have enough information to determine if this is a real bug.

Hello! Thank you for submitting this issue I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end but unfortunately I wasn't able to with firefox 131.0a1(2024-08-07) on MacOS 15 .
Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue?

  1. Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
  2. Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
  3. Do you have any addons installed? If yes could you please list them?

Haven't heard back from reporter within a reasonable timeframe, thus resolving this bug for now.
