Some text sections are unreadable.

I wasn’t able to reproduce it. What browser or configuration were you using?
I believe the problem comes from scrolling down and having the dark background (for the graphic visibility) not give way to lighter background.
I have tried in Chromium, Firefox, Safari, and Orion and do not get this bug (see screenshots).
We are in the process of redesigning the home page so this graphic, dark background, and look & feel will be gone.
Sorry, I use uBlock Origin to block third-party scripts by default. After allowing scripts from website-files.com, the site looks fine. I already had global exceptions for the other CDNs you use.
Please ask someone to check the reports about Mozilla Connect too: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?product=Websites&component=connect.mozilla.org&bug_status=__open__ . Its triage owner never looked into any report.
