In a multi-monitor (or multi-desktop) set-up, Firefox's built-in modal pop-ups such as "Authentication Required" or "Password Required" prompt, appear to follow the mouse movement and lock on to the active monitor, regardless of where Firefox is.

IMHO, it would be more logical to open the modal pop-ups over the Firefox itself.

(Ubuntu 24.04 Wayland)

We don't have control over window positioning in Wayland so this may be working as intended

As far as I recall, the issue was present on Windows as well.
