Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:130.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/130.0
Steps to reproduce:
Trying this out in Firefox 130 on macOS 14.3.
Register two variants of a favicon using <link>s, one light and one dark:
´´´
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="img/favicon-white.png" media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)"/>
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="img/favicon-black.png" media="(prefers-color-scheme: light)"/>
´´´
Actual results:
When switching to light or dark mode, the favicon stay the same, using it seems the latest declaration.
Expected results:
When switching to light or dark mode, the favicon should switch between the two versions. This is the behaviour on Chromium.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

No I don’t think it is Audio/Video at all. I don’t know what it is, a mix of media query from CSS, and HTML attribute, and calling images.
