I've been using a Windows-on-ARM64 laptop for a few days and there are regular driver resets (several times per hour) where firefox freezes up for a second before recovering. Overall the recovery experience is quite smooth, but there are quite a few resets. Is there anything to do here or is it just a low quality driver?
GPU: Qualcomm(R) Adreno(TM) 630 GPU

The date on that driver is Driver Date: 1-24-2019 which is very old - is it possible to see if there is an updated driver available for this system?

Ted, thanks for reporting. If you are able to capture a profile of any of these stalls, it would also be very helpful.

There does not appear to be any newer Windows driver available for the Adreno 630.

Detect DeviceReset DeviceResetReason::HUNG DeviceResetDetectPlace::WR_POST_UPDATE in GPU process
The full browser window stayed solid (gray?) color for 10+ seconds and minimize/maximize did cause it to start rendering again.

Could you go to about:config, set gfx.webrender.software to true, restart the browser and see if that works around the issue?

Switching the pref back and forth a few times (with restarts in between) I see the issue within a couple minutes when HW render is enabled, and never see the issue when using Software WebRender.

We think we just need to get a device to someone who can investigate into it.
@jrmuizel: Do we have the device?

I reminded Jeff about this on 17 Jan. Flagging as stalled until we can develop the requested data.

Lowering to S3 due to lack of activity over a long period of time.
