User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20030128 Chimera/0.6+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20030131 Chimera/0.6+ In January 29/30/31 builds, loading a bookmarked tab set and closing individual, non-active tabs or choosing "close all other tabs" in a non-active tab's context menu crashes Chimera in most cases for me. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a bookmarked set of tabs 2. open context menu of any non-frontmost tab 3. Choose "close all other tabs" or "close tab" Actual Results: Chimera crashed Expected Results: Close tabs and not crash :-) MacOS X 10.2.3, nightly builds January 29-31, Chimericon "Panorama theme" installed, problem could also be reproduced without the theme.
i can't repro this, though i did make a change to how tabs close. can you give me a stack?
Hope that helps
Follow-up information: the bug is still present in February 3 build for me. No themes whatsoever installed this time around. Reverting to January 28 build resolved the problem. The sites contained in the tab set (called from the toolbar): first tab: http://www.macnn.com/ second: http://slashdot.org/ third: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/ fourth: http://www.macnews.de/ fifth: http://www.spiegel.de/ First tab (macnn.com) is active, called other tab's context menu, clicked "close all others" -> crashes consistently. Expected Result: other tab should become active, frontmost tab should close and switch to the only remaining one. The crash does not seem site-dependent, other sites reproduce this, too
it so happens i fixed this while fixing something else yesterday. feb4 builds should be free of this bug (verified in the debugger).
