User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1; MultiZilla v1.1.32 final) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1; MultiZilla v1.1.32 final) Gecko/20021130 Can you put a way to add manually an url with wildcard in the password manager. On WEB site with a load balancer like http://www.caramail.lycos.com, you redirect with a HTTP 302 on a WEB Site http://wwwXX.caramail.lycos.com (and XX is number like http://www01.caramail.lycos.com), and you logon in the site web, mozilla ask you to cofirm to save your password for this site. If you come back on in this you redirect on http://wwwXX.caramail.lycos.com (http://www23.caramail.lycos.com), and you logon, mozilla ask you if you want to stord you password can you give a way to put in password manager an url like stored password for url like : http://www*.caramail.lycos.com Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.connect to http://www.caramail.lycos.com 2.you redirect on http://wwwXX.caramail.lycos.com (for example http://www01.caramail.lycos.com) 2.logon 3.strore your password 4.lougout 5.connect to http://www.caramail.lycos.com 6.you redirect on http://wwwXX.caramail.lycos.com (for example http://www23.caramail.lycos.com) 7.strore again your password
Severity should be changed to "enhancement". My 2p: wouldn't this add significantly to page load time? Also, potentially the second url visited may NOT be the same page, how would password manager know this? Potential crash risk?
