- Start with
sidebar.revamp = true. - Click the sidebar toggle button in the toolbar several times (does not require spamming).
Expected:
Animation transitions between states smoothly with no flashing or flickering.
Actual:
Final expanded state sometimes flashes before expansion animation starts. Collapse animation is unaffected.
Happens on Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04.
Fixed by Bug 1915230.
