Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Bizarre....whenever I try and download anything Download manager never initializes, and I get a window with the following text: C:\documen~1\user\locals~1\temp\xyz(or whatever).exe could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator. The browser isn't particularly ratcheted down; I verify cookies, 1st 3 scripting boxes unchecked (for popups), download manager is ostensibly enabled... I have resorted to using IE for downloads. I now feel cheap and dirty. Please help (with my download problem)..... cheers, Eric Lecht. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.got to some download at any website 2.click on file to be downloaded 3.experience annoying error. Actual Results: I roared like a wounded yak, and dashed my teamug to the floor, swearing like a sailor. Expected Results: slapped me silly... Mozilla is great. I spread the word far and wide. My friends eventually see the light. Except my girlfriend. Go figure...
