Steps to reproduce:
Pressing and holding on a tab to close it closes abruptly by swiping left or right. Even the animation is missing a bit, when we suddenly close a tab by sliding the tab with one touch.
Actual results:
Closing a tab is done suddenly by swiping left or right.
Expected results:
The tab must overlap the other tab and not close.

Maybe the closing behavior of a first swipe tab has changed?

It's expected that the tab will close, if the tab swipe is stopped & released past a certain threshold. We will be re-examining this behavior (or the sensitivity of it) though when we do some more investigation into Bug 1904906.

Closing this as dupe! Hopefully Bug 1904906 solves the issue as mentioned in c2

When you drag the tab, it doesn't go over the adjacent tab, it stays stable on the tab, when you keep your finger on the tab and we move it left, right. And as an addition, when we hold the tab in the other direction and put the other tabs on top and then swipe, the tab closes, kind of like the error was.

Hey, I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say / what is wrong with the video. Going back to your original report, if I hold a tab and then exit the multi selection mode, I can no longer swipe to close that specific tab. This is likely a regression from Bug 1904906. Is that the issue that you're reporting? I'm assuming the video was filmed with the latest nightly build from yesterday (1/19)
