RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1799329

Details

Tested on: Fedora Linux 47 Desktop beta edition.

Hello. In Firefox versions previous to 130, extensions items that used to be shown under the Extensions icon drop-down located in tool-bar, be the instance in mode classic or private window, are no longer shown. Clicking this Extensions redirects to the page about:addons; there the extensions are dully shown as enabled. As expected no Firefox's settings were user-changed. The versions of the extensions had not changed while testing. In this order, disabling the extensions, disabling synchronisation, emptying cache, closing then restarting Firefox, re-enabling synchronisation and re-enabling extensions does lead to show them. Something may have gone wrong, but what?

This looks like Bug 1799329. If you allow the extensions to run in "private browsing", then the extensions should work.

Indeed extension allowed to execute in private window is shown in private window instance, and triggers the extension to be shown in classic instance as well, which is unrelated. Something more is wrong then.
