Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:130.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/130.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new event
  2. Add some invitees
  3. Save the event [expected result: all invitees receive email notification of the event - successful]
  4. Open up the same event
  5. Add an additional invitee who is not currently listed
  6. Save the event [expected result: the additional invitee should receive email notification -this does not work]

Actual results:

Adding initial list of invitees works in that they receive email notification.
Any subsequent additions do not receive email notification.

Expected results:

Any number of subsequent additions to the list of invitees should result in them each receiving an invitation.

Should be bug 1877640

This is only fixed in Thunderbird 132, not yet in latest ESR release 128 and it will probably not be backported to ESR release 115.
