Firefox is taking up soooo much RAM (2GB+). I tried using Arc & Chrome to the same amount and it was taking way less (less than 1GB))

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:130.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/130.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Firefox 130.0.01 on a MacBook M1 Pro, 16GB RAM, Sonama 14.5
- Install Sidebery extension and create 5 panels, with 4 pinned tabs that are always active.
- Open 5-20 additional active tabs and 150 unloaded/inactive tabs
- 1 hour later, check Activity Monitor.
- Firefox takes up 2GB+ on my machine
- "FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content" will have opened up for each active tab, taking up about 300-800MB.
I saw some bugs related, but I didn't exactly see a solution. Apologies if this has been resolved already!
Actual results:
Firefox is always taking up 1GB+ RAM.
"FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content" is opened for each tab and it will take up around 300-800MB.
Expected results:
Firefox should only take around 800MB (which is how much Arc/Chrome are taking up).
Not sure what "FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content" is the Arc/Chrome equivalent of.

Most of the memory here appears to be used by Google, where you are logged in and using the Calendar and various other applications. Are you certain that the circumstances you tested here were the same on Chrome? It also appears that your extensions are using a fairly large amount of memory but that can't explain the whole difference.
