I am unable to enter text into either the URL bar or forms fields under Solaris
5.6 & gtk 1.2.6. This has been the case for at least the last week, and it
still is the case with a Nov 18, 7:00 AM EDT pull which uses blizzard's
superwin code. The same code works fine under Linux. To be more specific about
the OS:
SunOS brtpsfae 5.6 Generic_105181-15 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-1

this was working for me yesterday, solaris 2.6.
Not sure about gtk version, probably 1.2.3.

Target Milestone: M12
Its still broken for me today. Looks like it may be related to gtk versions.
Someone posted to the newsgroup that this problem is caused by
having --disable-editor on the configure command line. Is this a
bug or a feature?
Well at least it has a workaround. Should it be possible to disable the editor
and still be able to type into text fields?

akkana says you cannot disable editor and have text fields work,
and that --disable-editor is bogus right now.

Focus melted down recently, we'll need to wait for 20148 before investigating
this any further. Moving to m13 in case this is a --disable-editor problem;
that config option is bogus and was removed yesterday.

marking invalid, per jim's confirmation that
--disable-editor was being used.
