Firefox Translation should have a menu item to access the feature in a manner other than the page action / address bar icon and context menu. Menu items are scriptable and configurable within OS-level features, like macOS's global keyboard shortcut setting overrides.

Proposal inspired by Safari 18's menu items:

View

  • Translation
    • Translate to (default target language)
    • Manage Languages…
    • (horizontal rule)
    • View Original
    • Report Translation Issue (Opens knowledgebase article linked from About Translations in Firefox gear menu in page action UI)

Chrome 131 do not appear to have menu items for its language translation feature.
