Steps to reproduce:

How can I install the debugging symbols for Firefox Nightly from Mozilla’s Debian archive? My current entry is:

$ more /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozilla.list

deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/packages.mozilla.org.gpg] https://packages
.mozilla.org/apt mozilla main

A firefox-nightly-dbgsym is not available.

@jcristau, could you please elaborate? How do I get the symbol for my system? Why is it not possible to follow Debian practices and provide a -dbgsym package?

https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/crashreporter/crashreporter/Using_the_Mozilla_symbol_server.html might help?

It's probably not impossible to put the symbol in a deb, but I don't think the cost/benefit is in its favor.
