User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 When trying to make mozilla the default mailer for my system (either when being asked by mozilla and answering yes or checking the checkbox in the preferences for mail/news and pressing the ok button) an error dialog pops up and says: mozilla mail could not be set as the default mail application because a registry key could not be updated.verify with your system administrator that you have write access to your system registry, and then try again. well i checked back with my system admin(that would be me thank you very much) and i have write access. unfortunately it doesnt tell which key it wants to update. any ideas? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.try to make mozilla the default mailer 2. 3. Actual Results: error message read description Expected Results: make it the default mailer
