Details |
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:132.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/132.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Firefox
- Open a new Firefox window
Notes:
- Gnome 46 on Fedora 40
- Wayland windowing platform
- Firefox Developer Edition 132.0b1
- Using English (Australia) as my language and region
- I do not have any right-to-left languages installed on my system
- Even if I did, having Firefox changing my layout without my permission would be very frustrating
Actual results:
- The refresh and new tab buttons vanish in all windows
- The forwards and back buttons move from the left-hand side to the right-hand side of the interface in the new Window
- The extensions menu moves from the right-hand side to the left-hand side of the interface in the new Window
Expected results:
The window keeps my chosen layout.

Please see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1919721#c61
You will need to use the Restore defaults once, then customize the toolbars again to your preferences.
